You will learn what to expect from audit logs, what data is actually stored in the system, and how these logs can expose tampering with evidence. Going beyond print and PDF, the utility of Excel for the audit logs export is explored, and how to understand what the terms in the audit logs means in relation to your case. Screen recording and other alternative methods for capturing relevant data will be demonstrated. HIPAA/HITECH and other Federal Regulatory Requirements for audit logs will be covered as part of this strategic session.
It’s about so much more than email. Overview of Rule 34 Standards and Protocols overview, as it applies to electronic communication methods. The use of smartphones, communication apps, call pendants, and other sources of communications information as they pertain to nursing home cases. You can’t just ask the IT person how everyone communicates anymore, because employees can make their own rules.

We will go over what to expect, and how to prevail using novel techniques.
