Failure to administer correct dose of narcotic

Darnell’s daughter, on behalf of her estate, sued the nursing home, alleging failure to administer the correct dose of hydromorphone, protect Darnell from neglect, and adequately train staff regarding the procedure for administering hydromorphone.

The jury awarded $3 million.
