Maria Glorioso

Maria Glorioso is skilled in all areas of personal injury with a special emphasis on cases involving serious injuries to children. Ms. Glorioso is an advocate of mentoring, especially law students. She enjoys working within the framework of trial competitions, having served as a law school national trial team coach and as a coordinator, host, and co-chair of the American Association for Justice’s Student Trial Advocacy Competition. She is also a member of AAJ’s Professional Negligence Section, and she generously donates to AAJ PAC MCLUB. Ms. Glorioso is the Immediate Past Chair of the Sole Practitioner and Small Firm Section. She is past chair of AAJ’s New Lawyers Division, a member of AAJ’s Trucking Litigation Group, and has been co-chair of AAJ’s Law Student Services Committee for over 14 years. Ms. Glorioso is a former trustee for the Roscoe Pound Institute and has been awarded AAJ’s Distinguished Service Award and the Wiedemann and Wysocki Award. She was also the President of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association from 2012-2013. The Glorioso Law Firm is located in New Orleans, LA.

Morris Lilienthal

Morris H. Lilienthal is a top-rated Alabama Trial Lawyer that has been selected six times to the Mid-South Super Lawyers List and The National Trial Lawyers Top 100.  Morris has devoted his practice to representing injury victims and their families. Morris is actively engaged on social media and dedicated to providing knowledge, value and inspiration to others.  He is known on social media for his #TipsFromMo which are daily video tips, his Facebook Live Interview Show – The Mo Show Live and his #WkndWkShirt  He’s also a contributing author in the book The Ultimate Guide to Social Media for Business Owners, Professionals and Entrepreneurs by Mitch Jackson. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, Alabama Association for Justice, and the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association. Mr. Lilienthal is a shareholder at Martinson and Beason, PC, a law firm that focuses on personal injury in Huntsville, AL.

Ryan C. McKeen

Ryan C. McKeen is a co-author of the best-selling Tiger Tactics: Powerful Strategies for Winning Law Firms. He started his firm with a deposit of $2500 and in 2019 was named the 15th Fastest Growing Law Firm in the United States by Law Firm 500. Ryan attained this in large part by telling stories and connecting with audiences online. Mr. McKeen is a member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) and was a member of AAJ’s Motor Vehicle Collision, Highway and Premises Liability Section. He is a partner at Connecticut Trial Firm, LLC, which is located in Glastonbury, CT

Tom Metier

Tom Metier is a board certified trial specialist, professional story teller and is the President of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys.  Tom specializes as Trial Counsel for law firms across the country in catastrophic injury cases, including tractor-trailer and commercial bus accidents, industrial accidents, traumatic brain and spine injuries, burn injuries, wrongful death, oil field and mining injuries, defective products, auto and motorcycle crashes and insurance bad faith.  He is the senior managing member of Metier Law Firm, LLC with offices in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska.  He is a senior faculty member of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College, and a Regent of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys. 

Christopher T. Nace, Course Advisor

Christopher T. Nace, course advisor, is an attorney with Paulson & Nace, PLLC, a Leaders Forum firm, which is located in Washington, DC. Mr. Nace works in all practice areas of his firm, including medical negligence, drug and product liability, motor vehicle crashes, wrongful death, and other negligence and personal injury matters. Mr. Nace currently serves as a Governor at-Large member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Board of Governors as well as on AAJ’s Executive Committee. He is the current Secretary of the National College of Advocacy Board of Trustees. Mr. Nace is a past Chair of AAJ’s New Lawyers Division, Membership Oversight Committee, and is a generous AAJ PAC Eagle and State donor. Mr. Nace is a Past President of the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington, DC. He has twice been awarded the AAJ Distinguished Service Award and is also a past recipient of the Wiedman Wysoki Award and the Heavy Lifting Award. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, and Washingtonian Magazine, and in July 2019 was awarded the Joseph Tonahill Award by AAJ’s New Lawyers Division.

Cheryl Pope

Cheryl Pope is an executive coach and organizational effectiveness consultant who advises clients on how to improve performance and gain a competitive advantage through strategic planning, communication and teamwork.  Her “in-the-trenches” business experience coupled with an ability to ask thought provoking questions (often referred to as “Jedi Mind Tricks” by her husband), allow her to determine the right strategy for each individual firm.  Additionally, as the wife of a trial lawyer she understands first-hand the day to day and long-term challenges attorneys face running a law firm as a business.

Seth Price

Seth Price concentrates his practice in civil law pertaining to personal injury, wrongful death, medical negligence, and workers’ compensation. He oversees all marketing and business development at his firm, relying heavily upon his extensive digital marketing expertise. Mr. Price has received an “AV” rating by Martindale-Hubbell, and he has earned a perfect 10 rating by AVVO. He has been named a Top 100 Trial Lawyer in Washington, DC, and a Washington, DC Super Lawyer. He was a member of the American Association for Justice’s (AAJ) Marketing and Practice Development Committee and is currently a member of AAJ’s Public Education Committee. Matthew Rosenberg

Matthew Rosenberg focuses his practice on representing individuals seriously injured or killed in motor vehicle crashes. Mr. Rosenberg has been repeatedly designated a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Star. He has been named a Select Lawyer in Personal Injury & Auto Accidents Law by Susquehanna Style Magazine and recognized by The National Trial Lawyers as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer. Conrad Saam

Conrad Saam founded Mockingbird, an online marketing agency focused exclusively on legal, after leading marketing efforts for Avvo. Called the “Gary V of Legal”, Conrad is the author of The FindLaw Jailbreak Guide, a Google Small Business Advisor and held positions for various ABA’s Practice Management marketing committees. A semi-professional bridge arsonist, Conrad enjoys publishing Cease and Desist letters from unscrupulous legal marketing vendors. He once bought the keyword, “mesothelioma lawyer” for $4.76. Conrad is the proud owner of Zippy, the first and only chicken to be awarded the Lawyers of Distinction Top 10% Award, which recognizes lawyers duped into buying a $700 annual subscription to a plaque. Kelly Street

Kelly Street focuses on helping small businesses grow and has spent the last 2 plus years doing just that in her role with AttorneySync, a digital marketing agency for lawyers. Kelly focuses on helping lawyers understand marketing and client development as co-host of two legal marketing podcasts, Clienting and Lunch Hour Legal Marketing. You can find her in Minnesota, pontificating about how lawyers can better connect with their potential clients through the power of expertise and authenticity

Tad Thomas, Course Advisor

Tad Thomas, course advisor, practices solely in the area of civil litigation with his primary focus being in the areas of products liability, motor vehicle, trucking and motorcycle collisions, and nursing home neglect and abuse. Mr. Thomas is a nationally recognized lecturer and has conducted seminars on technology and ethics across the country. He is admitted to practice in Kentucky, Illinois, New York, and numerous federal district and circuit courts of appeals. He is a cum laude graduate of Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University and obtained his undergraduate degree from Georgetown College. Mr. Thomas currently serves as AAJ’s Secretary, and is an active member of AAJ’s Executive Committee, AAJ PAC Task Force, Convention Planning Committee, Law Schools Committee, National Finance Council, Membership Oversight Committee, and Legal Affairs Committee. Argyrios (Gyi) E. Tsakalakis

Argyrios “Gyi” Tsakalakis has been helping lawyers use the internet to receive clients since 2008. As a non-practicing lawyer, he is familiar with the unique considerations and challenges of effectively marketing a law practice. Mr. Tsakalakis is regularly invited to teach lawyers about online legal marketing and has recently done presentations for AAJ, Chicago Bar Association’s Law Practice Management Section, and AVVO’s Lawyernomics Conference. Mr. Tsakalakis is the co-founder and director of AttorneySync, located in Chicago, IL

Marc Whitehead

Marc Whitehead is double board certified in both Personal Injury Trial Law and Social Security Disability Law.  He dedicates his practice to disability law, specializing in long-term disability insurance denials, Social Security Disability and Veterans Disability.  He has authored multiple books on the topic of disability benefit claims and litigation.  Based in Houston, Texas, he runs a national practice and has successfully litigated disability claims in 44 states and counting, plus Puerto Rico. He is the editor and publisher of the bi-monthly newsletter, The Successful Barrister--Marketing, Management & Life Skills that Probably Won’t Get You Disbarred. He is an adjunct practice advisor for Atticus, through which he advises and coaches other lawyers on running successful practices. Mr. Whitehead is a past president of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association (HTLA), and a member of the Board of Directors of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association (TTLA). He is actively involved in the American Association for Justice (AAJ) where he was a past chair of the Insurance Law Section. He was also a member of AAJ’s Marketing and Practice Development Committee among many others. Mr. Whitehead generously donates to AAJ as a PAC Eagle and his firm is an AAJ Leaders Forum member.

MCLE/NCA Requirements:


AAJ has filed for MCLE credit in the appropriate jurisdictions.  Registered participants can receive CLE* credits depending on the jurisdiction and will be applied to your participation in AAJ’s professional recognition program. AAJ Education programs are routinely accredited by states requiring continuing legal education. Cancellations received in writing January 10 - 23, 2020 will result in a voucher for the entire registration fee, which may be applied toward any AAJ Education college, seminar, or webinar held within one calendar year of the date of issue. Requests for refunds or vouchers received after January 23, 2020 will not be honored. AAJ is not responsible for any room cancellation fees or other travel fees which result from your cancellation.
