STAC Call for Judges
AAJ needs your help in judging the annual Student Trial Advocacy Competition (STAC). The competition is an exceptional opportunity for law school students to develop and practice their trial advocacy skills. This annual competition relies on attorneys like you to donate time and expertise toward fostering the brightest young legal minds.
Fourteen regional competitions will be held in March of 2017, with a National finals competition later in the spring. Teams will be judged on their skills in case preparation, opening statements, use of facts, examination of lay and expert witnesses, and closing arguments.
More information for volunteer judges will be posted by early 2017. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
Attorneys who are interested in volunteering as judges or would like more information should e-mail email@example.com or visit the competition Web site at www.justice.org/STAC. We hope you will volunteer your time and share your expertise!
Volunteers may be able to obtain CLE credit for serving as a judge in a mock trial competition; check with your state Bar to find out.
