Technology for the Workers’ Compensation Lawyer

Workers’ compensation lawyers have been doing things
the same way for decades. While the “if it isn’t
broken, don’t fix it” practice is usually sound
advice, some relatively minor technology tweaks can make an
enormous difference in these lawyers’ productivity.
In fact, many of these attorneys probably have much of the
necessary technology in place and simply don’t know how
to use it. If they added just a couple of other little items,
these same lawyers would be amazed at how much more efficient

DISABILITY PERSPECTIVE

Social Security Disability and Workers’ Compensation
claims possess a common denominator. Both programs provide compensation
to individuals who have an injurious condition. However, each
program is different in its focus when satisfying this denominator.
Workers’ Compensation focuses on providing compensation
for employees who are injured in the course of employment. Social
Security Disability focuses on providing benefits to people
who are unable to work because of a disability. The focus can
prove to be more difficult when the injurious condition relates
to an individual’s mental health.
