Michael F. Becker concentrates his practice in medical negligence. He is a past chair of the medical negligence section of the Ohio Association for Justice and has lectured and authored articles on medical negligence.  He is a fellow of the International Society of Barristers, inducted into the Inner Circle of Advocates, and listed in Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers. Mr. Becker received the Craig Spangenberg Distinguished Advocate Award from the Ohio Association for Justice and the President’s Award from the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys. He is a member of AAJ’s Leaders Forum and Professional Negligence Section. The Becker Law Firm, L.P.A. has offices in Cleveland and Elyria, Ohio. 

John M. Coletti is a partner of Paulson Coletti, PC in Portland, Oregon, concentrating in personal injury, product liability, birth injury, traumatic brain injury, wrongful death, and serious injury litigation. He is a member of the Inner Circle of Advocates, AAJ’s Products Liability Section, Professional Negligence Section, Admiralty Law Section, and Motor Vehicle Highway and Premises Liability Section, Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, and Washington State Association for Justice. Mr. Coletti was ranked in the Top 10 Oregon Lawyers by Oregon Super Lawyers and in the Top 10 of Portland’s Best Lawyers by Portland Monthly magazine.  He was also named Best Lawyers in America’s Lawyer of the Year 2012 for plaintiff product liability litigation. Mr. Coletti has also served as an adjunct professor of Advanced Trial Advocacy at Lewis and Clark Law School.

Lisa K. Curtis concentrates her practice in representing patients in medical negligence litigation. She is a President’s Club member of AAJ and served on the board of directors of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association. She received the Tort Scholar Award from the University of New Mexico School of Law, and is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court for the State of New Mexico, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and all New Mexico state trial and appellate courts. She is cited in Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America. Ms. Curtis is the managing partner of Curtis and Lucero in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Gary D. Fox concentrates his practice in medical negligence and products liability litigation.  He is a member of the Inner Circle of Advocates and is board certified as a civil trial lawyer by the Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial Advocacy.  Mr. Fox is a past president of the Florida Federation and Miami chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, a past chair of AAJ’s Professional Negligence Section, and a member of AAJ’s Leaders Forum.  He is listed in Best Lawyers in America, is a member of the International Society of Barristers, and served on AAJ’s National College of Advocacy (NCA) Board of Trustees.  Mr. Fox is the coauthor of the chapter entitled “Multiple Gestations” in the medical textbook, Operative Obstetrics, published by Williams and Wilkins (1995).  Mr. Fox is a partner in the firm of Stewart Tilghman Fox Bianchi & Cain, P.A. in Miami, Florida.

Randall L. Kinnard concentrates his practice in medical negligence, vehicular collisions, product liability, and personal injury. He is a member of the Inner Circle of Advocates, listed in Best Lawyers in America, and is "AV" rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Before entering law school, Mr. Kinnard attended West Point and served in Vietnam where he was awarded the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, Purple Heart, Bronze Star for Valour, and Air Medal. He is a member of AAJ’s Committee on Ethical Conduct and Professional Negligence Section. Kinnard, Clayton & Beveridge is located in Nashville, Tennessee.

Michael P. Koskoff concentrates his practice in medical negligence, personal injury, products liability, antitrust, civil rights, and class action litigation.  Mr. Koskoff is a member of AAJ’s Leaders Forum, listed in Best Lawyers in America, and is the current president of the Inner Circle of Advocates and past president of the Connecticut chapter of The American Board of Trial Lawyers.  He is the recipient of the 2008 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, and is a Commissioner on the State of Connecticut Judicial Selection Commission.  Mr. Koskoff lectures for AAJ and other national associations.  He is a recipient of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Lifetime Achievement Award, The Dedicated Service Award of the National Association of Black Patrolmen, the Waverly Jones Freedom Award of the Greater Bridgeport NAACP, and the Dedicated Service Award of the Afro-American Educators Association.  Mr. Koskoff is a senior partner at the firm of Koskoff Koskoff & Bieder, PC in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

James B. Lees, Jr. is a former cochair of AAJ’s NCA Board of Trustees, a Diplomate of AAJ’s NCA, an AAJ PAC Donor, and a frequent lecturer and teacher of trial tactics throughout the United States. A former Deputy District Attorney in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mr. Lees has tried more than 200 cases to jury verdict. Mr. Lees owns and operates Hunt & Lees, L.C. located in Charleston, West Virginia, concentrating in trial litigation. 

Jim Leventhal concentrates his practice in medical negligence, personal injury, and products liability litigation. He is "AV" rated by Martindale-Hubbell, and named a Colorado Super Lawyer and as “Best of the Bar, Plaintiff Medical Malpractice” by the Denver Business Journal. He received the Kenneth Norman Kripke Lifetime Achievement Award from the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Leventhal is the immediate past chair of AAJ’s Professional Negligence Newsletter and a past cochair of AAJ’s Medical Negligence Information Exchange Group. Mr. Leventhal is a senior partner with the law firm of Leventhal, Brown & Puga, P.C. in Denver, Colorado.

William P. Lightfoot limits his practice to plaintiff’s personal injury claims and served as chairman on the committee to re-elect Mayor Adrian Fenty 2010. He is board certified in Civil Trials by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, has an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell, and is a Diplomate of AAJ’s NCA. Mr. Lightfoot is a past member of AAJ’s NCA Board of Trustees and is a former Council Member at Large for the District of Columbia, where he chaired the Committee on Judiciary. He has been awarded the Attorney of the Year “Good Scout” Award from the National Capital Area Council of the Boy Scots of America. Mr. Lightfoot is managing partner at Koonz, McKenney, Johnson, DePaolis & Lightfoot in Washington, DC.

Patrick Malone learned how to ask questions and get answers as an award-winning investigative medical journalist. He graduated from Yale Law School and for the last three decades has represented plaintiffs in medical negligence, products liability, and other complex personal injury matters, from offices in downtown Washington, DC. He coauthored the original Rules of the Road book, now in its second edition, and frequently teaches the Rules technique at continuing legal education courses around the country. Mr. Malone is a member of the Inner Circle of Advocates, a fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and a member of AAJ’s Leaders Forum. He has been recognized by LawDragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America, Best Lawyers in America, and Washington, DC Super Lawyer.

Elizabeth N. Mulvey is a partner in the Boston law firm of Crowe & Mulvey, L.L.P., where she concentrates in personal injury law. She has been elected as a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, an advocate of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and a member of the Inner Circle of Advocates. She is listed in Best Lawyers in America. A frequent lecturer, Ms. Mulvey has taught trial advocacy in courses run by Harvard Law School, AAJ, and the American Bar Association. Her work has been published in numerous professional journals, including Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, the Boston Bar JournalThe Practical Litigator, and the Civil Litigation Section Newsletter. She has served as a section council member and a cochair of the Civil Litigation Section of the Massachusetts Bar Association, as well as a member and chair of the section’s bench-bar committee. Ms. Mulvey is a member of AAJ’s Leaders Forum.

Pamela E. Pantages concentrates on medical, obstetric, and pediatric negligence litigation. She has a Masters degree in speech pathology and audiology, and pursued a medical career before going to law school. She has been listed in Ohio Super Lawyers. Ms. Pantages is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers, Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys, AAJ’s Professional Negligence Section, and AAJ’s Leaders Forum. S. Jan Sawyer is a 17-year behavioral analyst and teaching specialist experienced in establishing physical and technical performance in legal trial matters to participants with an emphasis on human behavior and modification processes. She specializes in staging and conducting legal research projects including focus groups and trial simulations; analyzing the data through a custom-designed, neuropsychological-based human factors filter including broad-category human bias, case-specific bias; attorney performance; and data delivery and fundamentals of instruction for best outcome. Ms. Sawyer was cofounder of Law Media Productions, LLC in Memphis, Tennessee and began the Neuropsychological/Human Factors and Litigation Research division of Law Media Productions, LLC in 2005. She is currently an independent human factors trial consultant in Germantown, Tennessee.

Avery T. “Sandy” Waterman, Jr. concentrates his practice in nursing home, medical negligence, vehicle collision, personal injury, and other wrongful death litigation.  He has been cited in Best Lawyers in America, LawDragon, Virginia Business’ Legal Elite, Virginia Super Lawyers, Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Virginia, Million Dollar Advocates Forum, Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and Who’s Who in American Law.  Mr. Waterman is a member of the Williamsburg Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, AAJ’s Leaders Forum, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, the Southern Trial Lawyers Association, the Motor Vehicle Trial Lawyers Association, and the I’Anson-Hoffman American Inn of Court.  Many court opinions of his cases are published, as are several of his articles.  Patten, Wornom, Hatten & Diamonstein, L.C. is located in Newport News, Virginia.

David A. Wenner concentrates in the areas of personal injury and medical negligence. Mr. Wenner was cochair of the AAJ’s Blue Ribbon Committee to study juror bias, and continues to conduct research on tort reform rhetoric and juror attitudes. Mr. Wenner is a past member of AAJ’s NCA Board of Trustees and a Diplomate of AAJ’s NCA. He is also a contributing author to AAJ’s Litigating Tort Cases (AAJ Press/West 2004), with a chapter on Juror Bias. He is a partner in the firm of Snyder and Wenner, PC, in Phoenix, Arizona, and a consultant with Winning Works, LLC.
