Police cruiser turns into motorist's path, causing traumatic brain injury
The plaintiffs alleged the police officer was negligent in turning into the motorist’s path while responding to a nonemergency call. Suit against the city that employed the officer alleged vicarious liability. The jury awarded just under $1.11 million. Jontony v. Colegrove.
