City trash truck strikes and kills cyclist in intersection
The cyclist’s family sued the city, claiming the truck driver was negligent in failing to pay proper attention, stop at the intersection, and yield to a bicyclist in the intersection. The parties settled for $1.9 million. Sandoval v. City of Los Angeles.
